Judging Rules
- Judging will be by members of the CCSC:SE regional board, the conference committee and any others appointed by the web contest director(s). Judges from industry will be included when possible.
- Judging will start on October 10 and will be completed by October 22.
- All decisions of the judges are final.
Judging Criteria
- Visual Design/Layout
- Consistency of page layouts (i.e., "look and feel")
- Overall site layout/organization
- Aesthetic appeal and creativity
- Appropriate/creative use of audio, images, or video
- Navigation/Interactivity
- Working links
- Ease of navigation
- Logical site structure
- Reasonable load time
- Technical Merit
- Reasonable load time
- Use of advanced HTML features
- Use of current or emerging web technologies (DHTML, CSS, CGI scripts, JavaScript, Java Applets, Java Servlets, JSP, ASP, PHP, database access, XML, etc.)
- Content
- Proper content for audience
- No copyright or trademark infractions
- Complete website (as far as information you have been given)
- Each page has contact and date information
- Correct spelling/grammar
